Using Chinese acupressure meridians, physiotherapists, Henry and Florence Kendall used applied kinesiology to develop Muscle Response testing.

Muscle testing is a simple way of communicating with the inner workings of the body and evaluating imbalances. It involves testing the body’s responses while applying slight pressure to a large muscle connected to the acupressure meridians of the energetic field throughout the body.

This technique provides information on energy blockages, organs and system functions, nutritional deficiencies, allergies and food sensitivities. It is also found effective for releasing emotional and subconscious reactive patterns.

This technique is used widely among chiropractors, and naturopathic physicians, and as a complimentary technique with other holistic modalities.
